About the role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Join a dedicated team in a lovely Additional Resource Provision (ARP) class in Key Stage 1, where you will play a vital role in supporting students to reach their potential. Working 1:1 and in small groups, you'll focus on promoting their academic, social, and emotional development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with ASD students, whether formally or informally, to join a nurturing and professional environment.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with ASD (essential).
• A relevant qualification (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to children with ASD, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
• Implement strategies to support sensory and communication needs, as directed by the class teacher and SENCO.
• Build positive relationships with pupils to foster confidence and independence.
• Assist with classroom activities, including adapting resources to suit individual learning needs.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
