Experienced Mobile Electrician

Red Rock Consultants have partnered with a well-established company that is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join their dynamic team.

This full-time, permanent position offering a competitive anual salary with additional benefits including a company vehicle, workplace pension, and corporate clothing allowance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service and maintenance of electrical appliances within both commercial and domestic properties. This role involves attending reactive breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

As a mobile worker, travel to various locations within the West Midlands, (Birmingham and Coventry) also Warwick, Hereford and Northampton will be required to meet the needs of the business. The role offers a 40-hour working week (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), with opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate.

Key Responsibilities:

* Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults within commercial and residential settings

* Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance

* Conducting EICR electrical testing and energy-saving LED lighting upgrades

* Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with industry regulations

* Providing excellent customer service and liaising with management regarding project progress

* Maintaining company tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order

* Identifying and quoting additional work as required

Requirements:

* Previous experience of site electrical installations

* Strong knowledge of BS 7671 - IET Wiring Regulations

* Experience with single-phase and three-phase power installations

* A full UK clean driving licence is essential

* Awareness of Health & Safety regulations

Desirable Qualifications:

* City & Guilds BS7671:2018 Level 3 - Electrical Installations

* City & Guilds 2391 - Testing and Inspecting (previously 2394/2395)

* Enhanced DBS verification
