Assistant Finance Business required to join a highly successful and ever-growing business based in Wakefield. My client requires a pro-active, enthusiastic team player who can bring their previous accounting experience and enhance the dynamic and growing finance function in this market leading business. The client boasts an impressive customer base of well-known market leading brands within multiple sectors.

As the Assistant Finance Business Partner you will be working closely alongside the Finance Business Parter and Head of Finance to assist with Budgeting, Forecasting and developing key and lasting relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally. This Assistant Finance Business Partner position would suit an inquisitive individual who is able to work largely unsupervised and define their own work schedule and is looking for a move into a more analytically focused role.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Business Partner

Support senior management with business strategy
Preparation of accurate commercial and financial information including budgeting and forecasting
Delivery and control of cashflow and working capital
Working closely with finance/commercial processing teams to ensure control compliance
Review and oversee payroll process
Ensuring controls are well maintained and adhered to
Deal with Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the business and senior leadership teamRequired skills and experience of the Assistant Finance Business Partner

Part-Qualified or Qualified by experience (preferably CIMA OR ACCA)
A desire to progress within the business
Experience of working within an accounting role
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Skilled in interpreting financial data and able to analyse data
