CoppaFeel! is looking for a visionary senior marketer to lead their passionate and award-winning team, as they look to further develop their vital impact and awareness to new and existing audiences through innovative and engaging sector leading campaigns.

Location: Hybrid/South London SE1 3HA (2 days a week in office)

About CoppaFeel!

Founded in 2009 by Kristin Hallenga and her twin sister, Maren, after Kris was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at the age of 23, CoppaFeel! is the UK’s only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity.

We’re on a mission to get every 18–24-year-old checking their chest.

We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly. If they notice something unusual, they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

Breast cancer continues to be the most common cancer in women under 40, and the number one cause of death of women in the UK. Early diagnosis is the key to a successful breast cancer outcome. CoppaFeel! are working with our Boobettes – our amazing ambassadors – in schools, festivals, universities and beyond whilst working with healthcare professionals and our corporate partners and the media to raise awareness and spread our message.

We aim to support young people in developing new sustainable habits and advocating for their own health. We are inspired to strive for a better outcome for the lives of a generation that is increasingly being unheard when it comes to their health, and we want to advocate for change.

Although a small team, we have a mighty voice and an iconic challenger brand. Our voice and brand are amplified and spread by our volunteers, our supporters, and our media and corporate partners.

We want to ensure that young people see themselves reflected in the pathways, support systems and in the work of other organisations in this space.

About the role

You will drive cross-departmental collaboration, oversee the execution of the 2025 marketing strategy, and lead the development of the 2026 strategy as we continue our incredible growth.

As an inspiring leader, you will foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, autonomy, and collaboration, bringing the team along on that journey as Coppafeel! continue to push our dynamic approach to marketing forward.

You’ll bring energy, creativity, and fresh ideas to campaigns and partnerships, ensuring our marketing remains bold, impactful, and engaging.

You will also play a key role in senior leadership, providing regular updates and working closely with the Directors of Fundraising and Education to drive a cohesive, strategic approach.

Finally, you will champion data-driven decision-making, staying ahead of emerging marketing trends to ensure CoppaFeel! continues to grow its reach and impact.

Who we are looking for

As an ideal candidate, you will be a strategic, marketing leader with at least three years in a senior role. You will have a proven track record of developing and executing impactful marketing strategies and a strong ability to lead high-performing teams. You will also have experience leading a high-performing team and demonstrate the ability to foster collaboration and innovation, and continue to drive audience growth and engagement.

You will excel in cross-team collaboration, working closely with various departments to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives. Candidates must be exceptional brand specialists with an ability to support the continued evolution of CoppaFeel!’s 2024 brand refresh, ensuring our voice, positioning, and messaging remain central to all marketing decisions.

You will, ideally, also hold experience in engaging minority audiences through creative and meaningful campaigns, as CoppaFeel! continues to expand its reach and raise further awareness. Also, experience with engaging and partnering with external creative agencies is essential.

Finally, you will hold expertise in cross-channel campaigns, budget management, and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
