We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. This role is vital in supporting the department's financial operations and contributing to our company's overall financial strategy.

Description

• Preparation of all month end reconciliations and journals for the head office entity (AP posting will be supported by another member of the team)
• Track actuals to budget and prepare the month end reporting for the head office entity
• Work with the business to ensure accurate and timely information is received
• Preparation of the group recharges to the other entities in the Group
• Work closely with the regional Controllers for London, Iceland and Finland to ensure intercompany entries are posted correctly (including intercompany loans)
• Work closely with the Group Reporting Manager for the preparation of the year end accounts, and be a key point of contact for the auditors
• Review AP postings as made by the Accounts Assistant
• VAT return preparation
• Support on Group initiatives and other adhoc projects as required
• System improvements

Profile

A successful Group Management Accountant should have:

• Part-qualified/ newly qualified ACCA/ACA
• Proven ability to prepare accurate month end reconciliations and work independently
• Desire to learn and proactively engage with other members of the Finance team and wider business
• Multi-currency experience
• Experience in a Group environment/ head office entity is desirable but not required
