Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business who are looking for an Engineering Manager for their facility near Worksop.

Salary - £65-£75k

Reporting to the Head of Engineering the Engineering Manager will have a planned approach to maintain continuous production, enhance operational efficiencies and ensure safety of the processes.

Duties of the Engineering Manager will include:

• Lead the day-to-day operational performance of all assets and the forward-looking strategyfor all aspects of equipment care and reliability.
• Train, manage, lead and build a professional engineering function in-line with the values ofthe business. A team capable of supporting the future growth opportunities and challenges.
•  Leading all aspects of HSE on site, ensuring that processes, procedures and systems arelegally compliant and fit for the business.
• Champion the adoption of best practices, including supporting, encouraging and maintaininga culture of continuous improvement.
•  Provide strategic engineering support to assist the business in achieving its longer-termgoals and priorities.
• Support the wider business in delivering the engineering agenda and ensuring that theengineering function is in-step with other areas of the business in terms of engagement,communication, and welfare.

We would like to speak with Engineering Managers with the following:

• HNC or above in Engineering.
• Experience managing a large maintenance team.
• High level of planning, organisation and effectively able to manage and measure work ofyour team.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage with shift operations teams.
• A leader, motivator, and an excellent influencer with the ability to tackle complexchallenges and create simple solutions.
• Experience of working in a high-calibre manufacturing environment.
•  High energy levels and an understanding of the commitment that is required to help shapethe future success of the site.
