Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Doncaster
Salary: Grade 7, £27,259 - £29,955 pro rata (depending on experience and qualifications)
Equivalent to £14.13 - £15.53 per hour

About the Role: As a Residential Support Worker, you will be providing care and support to children and young people in a safe, compassionate environment. You will help them to develop emotionally, socially, and practically, guiding them through daily activities and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to children and young people, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Support young people in daily activities, including education, social skills development, and independent living.
Be a positive role model and advocate for the young people in your care.
Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and therapists, to ensure holistic support.What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children and young people (ideally in a residential setting).
Relevant qualifications (such as NVQ in Health and Social Care, Children and Young People, or equivalent).
A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.What We Offer:
Competitive salary and benefits package:

Basic wage includes an all-inclusive allowance of 8.5%, bringing the salary to £29,576 - £32,501 (equivalent to £15.33 - £16.85 per hour).
£41.78 per sleep-in shift (on average 4 shifts per month, totaling £167.12, approximately £2,000 annually).
Rota includes 2 weekends off out of 4.
Overtime over 37 hours paid at time and a quarter.
South Yorkshire Pension Authority contributions.
City of Doncaster Council employer annual pension contributions (£4,634 - £5,092, subject to employee contributions).
