Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)

Salary: Up to £28,000

40 hours per week

Our client is excited to welcome a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their team. As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team to deliver exceptional care and education for young children in our nurturing nursery environment. You will have the opportunity to create an inclusive and stimulating setting where children can explore, learn, and grow through play.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
  • Demonstrated track record in a nursery environment, with previous experience in leadership or supervisory roles
  • Profound understanding of child development and familiarity with early years curriculum frameworks
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
  • Strong dedication to advocating for diversity, equality, and inclusion in early years education
  • Current and comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead in guiding and mentoring a team of passionate nursery staff, nurturing their professional growth and upholding the highest standards of care and education
  • Develop and execute captivating and age-appropriate activities and experiences to promote children's learning and development
  • Cultivate strong and supportive connections with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a warm and inclusive community within the nursery
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by strictly adhering to safeguarding and health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate closely with parents and families, sharing valuable insights into children's progress and establishing strong partnerships
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation, including thoughtfully crafted learning journals and detailed observations
  • Champion diversity, equality, and inclusion across all facets of the nursery's practices
