As a ‘Good with outstanding features’ Secondary School, we are looking to appoint an experienced History Teacher, as the Head of History. The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working History Teacher, as Head of History, who will have the aim of raising attainment, to lead the department.

• Must hold UK QTS

• An advocate for your subject – History
• Able to teach History to a high calibre
• Good understanding of the History curriculum
• Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations
• Experience of leading a team or managing members of staff ideal
• Previous responsibility an advantage – pastoral or curriculum focused
