Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Courier Customer Service / Operations Clerk for a major Freight company. The company is based in the Feltham, Middlesex area.
Key Tasks:-
• Strong communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Great customer service skills, including interpersonal conversation, patience and empathy
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices
• Basic maths and accounting skills
• Organization, time management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to be discreet and maintain the security of client information
• Effective computer skills to input to use account management software in a timely and efficient manner
• Excellent knowledge of excel, ideally with Intermediate experience level, able to use pivot tables and formulas.
Skills and Competencies:-
• Be Customer focused with dedication in your service delivery to meet Customer needs.
• Ability to maintain positive mind-set when working under pressure, re-prioritising workload where necessary.
• Be reliable with the ability to multitask and have strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy.
• Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly as required.
• Knowledge of the freight transport industry.
• Experience within Accountancy and billing.
• Prior experience in an accountancy environment
• Excel qualification to intermediate level or the equivalent of - not essential.
Hours are based on a Monday - Friday basis.
Rotation shifts of; 0900 - 1800 / 0800 - 1700 and 0700 - 1600.
