Summary of the Position:
The role involves delivering an efficient dispute resolution service, managing a diverse caseload independently, and representing claimants and defendants in a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be newly qualified (NQ) to 2 years PQE and will bring a proactive, client-focused approach to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, including:
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Land and property actions
- Possession claims
- Debt recovery
- Conducting thorough legal research and drafting pleadings, statements, and other legal documents with attention to detail.
- Representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution, with some advocacy desirable.
- Ensuring compliance with Money Laundering procedures and GDPR regulations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers.
- Supporting the department in business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Training:
- NQ to 2 years PQE in civil and commercial litigation.
- Knowledge and experience in landlord and tenant disputes, property litigation, and debt recovery.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining high attention to detail.

- Ability to develop and manage an independent caseload effectively (with support).
- Meticulous organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
