The Role: The school is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their SEN unit. The successful candidate will specialise in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other SEN needs. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in SEN education and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of the students with ASD and other SEN.
Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other staff.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, independence, and a love for learning.
Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to provide comprehensive support to students.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant SEN qualification or training.
Experience teaching students with ASD and other SEN in a primary school setting.
A thorough understanding of SEN best practices and the National Curriculum.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
