About the Role:

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping and driving departmental strategy within a dynamic and forward-thinking QHSE team?

We're looking for an experienced Project Leader with a proven track record in QHSE and a strong background in the Nuclear and Defence sectors. In this role, you'll drive utilisation and profitability while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across high-profile projects.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of an established QHSE department through strategic leadership, client optimisation, and commercial direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the UK Head of Discipline to identify areas for improvement and maximise efficiency.
Develop and implement strategies to accelerate departmental profitability.
Collaborate with QHSE professionals to identify opportunities for client optimisation across multiple projects.
Represent the department in client meetings, building strong relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Ensure strategies align with statutory requirements, industry best practices, and company policies.
Oversee compliance with contractual, legal, and process requirements, providing expert guidance to project teams.
Engage with QHSE project teams and supply chain partners to foster strong relationships and drive cultural improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:

NEBOSH Construction / General Certificate (essential)
Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable)
Minimum 5 years' experience in highly regulated industry environment
Experience working within project delivery teams
Proven ability to manage confidential and commercial information
Experience preparing and presenting management reports and insights
Minimum SC clearance is essential for this role and the successful candidate must be willing to obtain DV clearance
