Adult Social Care Duty Service

Locum Contract

Full time, Monday-Friday

£32p/h

Located in Islington (Minimum of 2 days in office with remote working an option on remaining days)

Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their Adult Social Care Duty Service in Islington for a locum contract initially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and screen incoming referrals for the Adult Social Care Duty Service.
• Provision of minor equipment such as key safes, commodes, toilet seat raisers.
• Conduct remote based/ telephone assessments for urgent needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Strong social care experience with at least 2 years recent experience in adult social care, preferably with duty experience and some experience of major adaptations.
