Salary: £29k - £32k Our client, a reputable educational institution, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Course Manager/Lecturer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-quality teaching and make a significant impact on students' learning experiences. 

Main Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Management:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English/Mathematics lessons to GCSE and Functional Skills levels.
Manage the teaching and assessment processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards.
Provide timely and accurate reports on student performance to the Curriculum Area Manager.
Leadership and Management:

Support the Curriculum Area Manager by providing data on learner progress and implementing the organisation's quality management systems.
Participate in student enrolment, interviews, and various marketing events.
Address immediate student issues and manage student behaviour in line with organisational policies.
Professional Development and Welfare:

Engage in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Contribute to cross-organisation events and marketing activities.
Promote the organisation's values, safeguarding policies, and commitment to equality and diversity.Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Educated to at least Level 2 in English and Mathematics.
Good knowledge of the further education sector, specifically the English/Mathematics curriculum.
Experience in delivering Level 2 English/Maths Functional Skills and GCSE qualifications.
A learner-centred approach with strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable:

Degree-level education in a relevant subject.
A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one within the required timeframe.
Knowledge of entry-level qualifications for English and Mathematics.Skills and Attributes:

Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and use initiative effectively.
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills to build cooperative relationships.
Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.
Flexibility to teach and attend at other centres if required.
