We’re currently looking for an Audit Senior based in Leeds to join a Top 50 firm’s audit team.
In this Audit Senior job in Leeds, you’ll work closely with Directors and Managers, carrying out statutory audits and other ad-hoc audit services for a diverse client base, including everything from sole traders to multi-national PLCs. This role offers the chance to mentor junior team members while driving forward your own career progression.
As an Audit Senior, you 'll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services while managing audit timetables and overseeing a small team. Role Responsibilities - Conduct statutory audits for a varied client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and multi-national companies
- Manage audit engagements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and development support
- Participate in weekly team meetings, managing workload and tracking audit progress
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of internal audit processes

Candidate Requirements - Part-qualified ACCA/ACA or QBE, with experience in a practice environment
- Qualified by experience also considered

- Highly organised and efficient, with a proactive and flexible approach to work
- A passion for accountancy and the desire to make a positive impact within a growing team
