This summer, they have undergone large redevelopment projects which include a new look and location for their shop.

They are looking to hire a passionate and proactive Retail Manager to work with the Commercial Manager to oversee all aspects of their shop including product research, ordering stock, visual merchandising and sales.

Person Specification

Essential skills and experience

  • At least two years’ experience of working in a retail environment at a management level.
  • Evidence of visual merchandising and display skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong sales focus.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience of telephone and email enquiries.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to priorities duties.
  • Evidenced experience of managing an online shop.
  • Excellent computer competencies, preferably on Apple computers.
  • EPOS till systems.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience of working in a gallery environment.
  • InDesign, Canva or Photoshop experience.
  • Experience of using social media for marketing.
