We are currently recruiting for Capstan Setters / Operative on a temporary - permanent basis in Telford.

Pay rate £12.50 - £14.00ph depending on experience

Requirements/ Responsibilities of Capstan Setters / Operative:
Ability to monitor the running of machines, efficiently loading / unloading with minimum down-time.

Capstan and manual lathe operating and setting.

Working to tight tolerances - ability to monitor quality of own production, using Vernier and Micrometer Gauges.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Must have the ability to read engineering machining drawings.

A minimum of 2 years, machining experience.

Communicate effectively with team members.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Keep work areas clean, tidy and follow company procedures
