2nd Line Engineer - Gateshead

Your Role:

* Technical Support: Handle 2nd line hardware, software, and network issues. Resolve escalated problems and support end-users via phone, email, and remote tools.

* System Maintenance: Perform regular updates, upgrades, and system monitoring to ensure top performance.

* Incident Management: Track and document incidents, working with 3rd line support when required.

* Customer Service: Deliver outstanding support with clear, effective communication.

* Process Improvement: Suggest enhancements to IT processes and participate in team initiatives.

What You Bring:

* Experience: 2+ years in 2nd line support or similar roles.

* Skills: Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS, network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls), and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V). Cloud experience (AWS/Azure) is a plus.

* Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Azure Administrator Associate preferred.

* Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
