Are you an experienced Optometrist?

Evolve are recruiting for an Optometrist to join a leading provider of specialist eye care. As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team working alongside consultants, you'll be carrying out pre and post-operative consultations, assessing the suitability of patients for treatment.

This is a fixed term contract role based in York.

Ideal Requirements for an Optometrist

* Extensive experience working as an Optometrist in a refractive, high street or hospital environment.

* Current GOC registration as a fully qualified Optometrist.

* Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems.

* IP qualification with an interest in YAG.

Role Responsibilities for an Optometrist

* Carry out examinations that are associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma and retinal surgeries.

* Provide first line clinical advice to patients and follow the appropriate means of referral to a medical practitioner.

* Give health advice and support to patients attending the hospital.
