I am partnered with a fast-growing Property Investor and Asset Manager in their search for an established commercially focussed property manager to join their growing asset management division. Based out of their Central Birmingham offices, this client side opportunity boasts a portfolio of over 100+ assets totalling around £250m, split between industrial, retail, offices and some residential, developed over time across the West Midlands. The portfolio includes properties let to large blue-chip firms, public sector occupiers and major retailers. Our client has a clear plan on their investment strategy which continues to grow aggressively yet sustainably and sensibly.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS ROLE?

Reporting to the Director of Estates Management you will assist in the day to day property management of the portfolio, which covers classic commercial asset classes including industrial, retail, offices & associated residential. You will be working along side a growing property asset management team that includes a Property Manager and Facilities Manager and a Property Administrator. This role is a wide ranging, where you will be in a full 360 degree property management role also include wide ranging tasks such as preparation of rent, insurance and service charge budgets as well as get involved with landlord and tenant work. You inspect the investment estate and liaise with tenants on regular basis and in some cases manage external consultants such as agents, architects, accountants and contractors to assist with the management of the portfolio.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

* Commercial Property Management experience with proven exposure to 'Investment Property Management'.

* Ideally you will be MRICS however this is not essential.

* Ideally have some experience in wider Estate Management with an understanding of Landlord & Tenant legislation, again not essential.

* Experience with Microsoft Office and understanding of how to use Property Management Software.

* Full UK driving License.
