Join a Global Leader as a Payroll Team Lead!Reed Accountancy is thrilled to partner with a globally recognised business in Teesside, seeking a dynamic Payroll Team Lead to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis with a hybrid working scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with managerial experience to lead a payroll team through all complexities and challenges. About the Role: As the Payroll Team Lead, you'll spearhead the UK Shared Services Team, ensuring top-notch service delivery in Payroll, Benefits, and HR administration. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining excellence across all payroll activities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and guide the payroll team through change management processes
  • Deliver exceptional payroll and benefits administration for both UK and international payrolls.
  • Coordinate and manage team activities to meet service delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with business and legislative requirements, including third-party payments.
  • Maximise payroll transaction accuracy and maintain high service quality.
  • Support the Payroll Manager with vendor management and system maintenance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with business needs, local legislation, and SOX regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll and benefits processes.
  • Manage high-quality administration covering onboarding, contractual changes, and leaver transactions.
  • Provide support and direction during challenging times.
  • Utilise strong Excel skills for payroll analysis and reporting.

What You'll Need: 

  • Proven experience working in Payroll with managerial experience.
  • Extensive experience managing multiple payrolls of varying complexities.
  • Strong management skills and expertise in Change Management.
  • A people person with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • CIPP qualification is a plus, but not essential.
