Vardey Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a market leading, well-established SME Business based in Ringwood, Near Bournemouth - (Dorset/Hampshire borders) who are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant. This job as an Assistant Management Accountant reports directly to the Management Accountant, working in an ambitious and friendly team. This Assistant Management Accountant role will offer you career progression and experience whilst working in a fast growing international group of companies with fantastic long term career opportunitiues.

This job has been created due to internal promotion and is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant/Part-qualified Accountant. This trainee accounts role could suit an Accountancy and Finance graduate (ideally with experience) or an ambitious AAT studier keen to progress their career, study and learn more! Training and study support available!

Job Role of the Assistant Management Accountant:

* Prepare schedules for monthly management accounts, including fixed assets, P&L analysis, intercompany balances.

* Assist with cashflow figures, assist with forecasting.

* Daily distribution of BI reports (daily snapshots)

* Distribution of low margin report, including analysis

* Weekly and monthly KPI reporting & assist with the VAT return

* Prepare and reconcile opening/closing balances

* Support month end Balance Sheet reconciliations

The Accounts role will suit:

* Technically strong, part-qualified Accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the drive and tenacity to make things happen

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to manipulate, interpret and analyse financial data

* Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of MS Word,

* Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup), and Outlook
