Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Design Technology lessons to students aged 11-16

Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that fosters creativity and technical skills

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support

Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies

Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to DT and Engineering

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Strong subject knowledge and practical skills in DT and Engineering

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
