SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (35 hours/week)
• Location: Hybrid 2 days a week in Maidstone
• Pay: £#removed# Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Server Management: Oversee the performance, data integrity, and management of SQL Server environments. Handle capacity planning, security, performance tuning (including ETL and stored procedures), and troubleshooting.
• Reporting & Data Handling: Manage reporting and data requests, and provide expertise on SQL, ETL, and database development.
• Change Management: Ensure compliance with change management practices and maintain updated documentation.
• Collaboration: Work with IT teams on backup, disaster recovery, and collaborate with third parties on data structure changes.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong experience with SQL Server administration.
• Proficiency with GIT source control.
• Knowledge of Azure PAAS, Azure Availability Groups, and data migration from On-Premise to Azure.
