Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £24,000

40 hours per week

Are you a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Nursery Practitioner looking for an exciting opportunity? We are looking for an individual with a strong commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.

To excel in this role, you'll need the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Level 2 in Early Years, showcasing your expertise in early years education and development
  • Full and relevant childcare qualification, demonstrating your dedication to providing the best care for children and meeting regulatory standards
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner in a similar setting, showcasing your passion and commitment to early years education and the ability to effectively support children's development
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development, with a compassionate and patient approach
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children under your care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues and facilitate a positive learning environment

As a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old, fostering their development and growth through tailored activities and experiences
  • Plan and implement creative and engaging activities that promote learning, curiosity, and exploration, while adapting to individual needs and interests
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members to create a supportive community and ensure a holistic approach to child development
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and learn, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Contribute to the overall ethos, work, and aims of the nursery, collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that reflects best practices in early childhood education
