Our fantastic Homebuilder client is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Receptionist to join their team in Fulford, York! �?

Location: York, free onsite parking

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing, with potential for permanent position for the right candidate!

Hourly Rate: £12 per hour

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

* Skilfully manage a busy switchboard, ensuring all calls are handled professionally and efficiently

* Offer a warm and friendly welcome to visitors, creating a positive first impression of the organisation

* Handle incoming and outgoing post, meticulously distributing and processing it

* Coordinate deliveries and collections with couriers, ensuring smooth operations

* Arrange and prepare meeting rooms, including providing refreshments when necessary

* Assist in the management of invoices and oversee office orders

* Provide valuable support to the Office Manager in facilities administration

* Undertake other reception and administrative duties as required.

Skills Required:

* Previous experience in a similar reception role

* Familiarity with operating a telephone switchboard is advantageous

* Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel

* Exceptional organisational skills, self-motivation, and strong communication abilities

* Possess a confident telephone manner and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

* Thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
