Carter Murray are pleased to be partnering with a global, family run Telecommunications brand, specifically within telecoms infrastructure who are seeking a UK General Manager based out of the Liverpool office.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations: Manage day-to-day activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Set and achieve goals: Establish short-term and long-term goals, policies, and procedures to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Manage business processes: Develop and implement work programs, including equipment acquisition, scheduling, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance: Coordinate with Group policies and comply with local and EEC laws.
  • Manage personnel: Oversee personnel supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Represent the organisation: Participate in community and business meetings and promote programs and policies.
  • Manage finances: Develop annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost control.
  • Develop marketing strategies: Oversee funding and marketing programs to generate revenue.
  • Expand business: Develop initiatives to increase sales, improve facilities, and update technology.
  • Coordinate operations: Develop an operational management system to schedule activities and personnel effectively.
  • Conduct research: Conduct research on new business opportunities for the Company and Group.

Previous experience within the Telecommunications industry is preferred.
