About the Role:We are seeking a Property Planner with a passion for residential and commercial development to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing planning applications, ensuring the success of projects from inception to approval. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent knowledge of the planning process, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning Applications: Prepare and submit planning applications for residential and commercial developments, ensuring compliance with local and national planning policies.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate development potential and identify risks.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with local authorities, clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of applications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on planning laws and regulations, ensuring projects adhere to relevant guidelines.
  • Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage planning-related documents, including design and access statements, site layouts, and supporting technical reports.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in public consultations and community engagement initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a property planning role, with a strong understanding of residential and commercial development.
  • Familiarity with local planning processes and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in planning and design software (e.g., CAD, GIS) is desirable but not essential.
