The role - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

I am working with a SEN School based in Southwark that are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team! In this role you will be working with a year 7 student assisting in and out of the class with class work. You must be a confident, approachable and efficient person with the ability to build strong a relationship with the student. In this 1:1 Teaching Assistant role you will be working with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs and must have experience working with challenging behaviour. You will be working closely with the class teacher and must monitor the student's progress and provide feedback.

The school is SEN school based in Southwark that caters for girls aged 11 - 16 years old. Their vision is to have key strategies to help manage and regulate students' emotions appropriately and that they have the confidence to seek help where and when needed. The school's purpose is to act in the best interest of the students and the school community by delivering quality education, pastoral and specialist support for students identified as having SEMH.
