Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Salary: £460 - £500 per week

Contract: Full-time

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist students with SEN in their academic and emotional development.
Support pupils with managing their behaviour using positive and creative approaches.
Encourage engagement and assist with tasks in class, both individually and in small groups.
Provide support with personal care when necessary.
Work closely with the teaching and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Foster a caring and nurturing environment for all pupils.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential.
A caring, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students.
Ability to commute to and around Luton.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents.
Willingness to assist with personal care where required.
Initiative to support learning and emotional well-being.
