Vacancy: Senior Manager - Accounting Advisory Services

Location: Geneva
Salary: 130,000 - 160,000 CHF

Our client is looking for a Senior Manager (Accounting Advisory Services) to help their clients with challenges in local and international accounting standards, in the context of preparing financial statements as well as in M&A Build up our client's Accounting Advisory Services team in Geneva and support them with your expertise and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Manager (Accounting Advisory Services) role include:

• Technical responsibility for advising customers on the introduction and application of various accounting standards such as IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER, US GAAP or Code of Obligation
• Independently take responsibility for large projects and take care of the deployment and guidance of your project team
• Actively support CFOs or Group Accounting Heads in the interpretation on accounting and financial reporting issues
• Work on IPO Readiness Assessments and provide M&A support; you are also part of the team in the context of comfort letter projects for capital market transactions
• Analyse complex accounting-related issues
• Respond to technical inquiries and add value for customers through your accounting expertise
• Educate yourself independently in the latest developments to maintain your knowledge, advantage and to proactively serve the customer with relevant news
• Maintain existing customer relationships and continuously expand your network and actively support the team in acquiring new customers as well as accounting advisory services engagements

Requirements for the Senior Manager (Accounting Advisory Services) role include:

• Degree as a certified public accountant or local equivalent is an advantage
• Proven track record of practical experience in the BIG4 environment or in Group Accounting / Controlling of an international company
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or Swiss GAAP FER are essential. US GAAP knowledge is a plus
• Proficient English skills, French and German is a plus
• Dedicated and entrepreneurial personality with high customer, deadline and team orientation
• You will need a Swiss CPA or equivalent
• Experience of working with a BIG4 company.
