Our client is looking for an Apprenticeship Quality Assurance Manager to help maintain the highest levels of internal quality assurance for assessment in line with regulatory obligations.

Support customers (providers, apprentices, and employers) to ensure positive interactions with the organisation regarding assessment.

The role is central to the ongoing strategic objective to be an Awarding Organisation of choice, delivering 'best in class' assessment products that are accurate, consistent, and fair. It requires close collaboration across various teams, including quality, product, assessment, sales, and the wider business, ensuring opportunities to improve customer experience are communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain a deep understanding of each apprenticeship assessment delivered.

* Provide insight and guidance on the assessment requirements of new apprenticeship assessments from a quality perspective.

* Apply understanding of General Conditions of Recognition to assessment and quality matters.

* Provide feedback from customers to improve assessment products and processes.

* Comply with quality and regulatory demands.

* Review moderation and standardisation processes to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes for apprentices.

* Collaborate with the assessor team to implement necessary improvements to apprenticeship moderation and standardisation.

* Support the training and onboarding of new assessors and team members to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.

* Report issues in published or developing apprenticeship assessment plans to relevant external organisations.

* Assist in developing and maintaining useful and compliant guidance for training providers, employers, and apprentices.

* Proactively minimise complaints and appeals by adhering to quality processes and intervening early when issues arise.

* Analyse assessment data from a quality perspective and report monthly on assessment quality.

* Support wider product quality activities as needed.

Personal Specification:

* Significant experience in apprenticeship assessment

* Significant experience working within regulatory and quality frameworks

* Significant experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders

* Significant experience supporting high-quality assessments with customers

* Significant experience creating various communications, both verbal and non-verbal

* Data analysis and reporting

* Ability to prioritise and balance multiple tasks simultaneously

* Confident communication skills, relating well to internal and external stakeholders

* Planning and delivering detailed guidance/feedback clearly

* Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs

* Critical thinking and problem-solving

* Ability to self-evaluate and identify personal learning needs

* Knowledge and understanding of digital occupations, apprenticeships, and assessment

* Understanding of the apprenticeship landscape, policy, and implications on quality

* Familiarity with General Conditions of Recognition
