Summary of Role

My local authority client are seeking an experienced Accountant to cover a role within their team for maternity leave. This will start in August so ideally, they will have appointed by mid July to have a handover period.

The role will be looking after the Housing Finance function within the Council so the work will include but not be limited to:

Housing Revenue Account.
Setting rents and service charges.
You will need a strong knowledge of HRA business planning.The client is happy to allow remote working candidates but if there are essential meetings/training/workshops etc there may be office presence required in the Yorkshire area.
