Assistant Warehouse Manager

The Company

Supplying a large range of customers across a varied supply chain, we deliver to Liverpool Manchester and Preston sites .

You will be working from our Blackburn site as part of an experienced warehouse team and overseeing staff workers in the warehouse . Reporting to the Warehouse manager

Job Skills & Qualifications

· Good analytical skills with attention to detail

Computer literate.

· Experience in computerised stock systems (advantageous)

· Counterbalance / Multi-Directional Forklift Licence required

Clean Drivers licence needed

Able to driver long wheel-based van

· Effective verbal and written communication

Job Responsibilities

Support the Warehouse Manager in the smooth running of the warehouse.

Ensuring completion of all daily shift checks

Actively ensure we hit our KPI Targets

Actively Participate in regular stock cycle counts

Goods in and goods out

Loading and unloading white goods and toiletries products

Delivery of goods to customers across county of Lancashire

Basic warehouse duties

This is not an exhaustive list of duties; you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives.

Shift Pattern

· Monday - Friday 7.30am to 4pm

· 40 Hours per week, Permanent Position ( to start with 6months FTC)

Includes Bank Holidays on a Rota System

Remuneration and Benefits

· 29 Days Annual Holiday Entitlement (inc. Bank Holidays)
