Our client, a respected and well-established care home dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care to older adults, is looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Home Manager (Residential Care) to join their leadership team.

What We’re Looking For

Our client is seeking a dedicated professional with:

  • Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven managerial experience within a care setting, preferably in elderly care.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of CQC requirements and care home regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • People Skills: A passion for supporting and developing staff and delivering person-centred care.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the care home, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care, maintaining compliance with regulations, and leading a dedicated team of professionals. Key duties include:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day running of the home to maintain a high standard of care and service.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all relevant regulations.
  • Team Management: Lead, recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement tailored care plans that promote residents’ independence and well-being.
  • Resource Management: Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources efficiently.
  • Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
