Assistant Accountant

Up to £40,000 per annum + study support

Hybrid in Central London

Accountancy Action have partnered with a rapidly expanding Property development company in order to find them a progressive, talented Assistant Accountant.

The company is going through a rapid growth period and are looking for someone to be part of that scale up. Working with an experienced Finance Director who will offer mentorship and leadership. Currently a group of companies, they are looking to expand and want the right team to help them on that journey. They are operating across residential and commercial markets on exciting projects.

The successful applicant will be joining a small but experienced finance department and will be key part of the team

Key responsibilities of the post holder:

• Twice weekly payment runs
• Making international/BACS and CHAPS payments via an online banking system
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing VAT returns
• Journal postings, accruals, prepayments
• AP/ AR
