The School - SEMH TEACHER (Alternative Provision)

This Hillingdon “Outstanding” Ofsted rated school is a co-educational Alternative Provision for pupils, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons. In 2023/24 offering places to KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5, many of whom have been, or are at risk of, permanent exclusion.

The role - SEMH TEACHER (Alternative Provision)

The successful SEMH Teacher will be required to work as a Primary School teacher within the Provision. The success SEMH Teacher will need to be confident, organised, creative and resilient with a real passion for teaching (especially in a somewhat challenging environment). They must be able to connect with children across the entire primary age range (Reception - Y6). Ideally, they will have a holistic approach towards seeing the whole child and will endeavor to embrace the challenge of understanding and accommodating that all behavior is communication. They MUST have a minimum of 4 years' experience and have a QTS Certificate.
