We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in a 1-form entry primary school in Southwark. This full-time role starts in January and focuses on supporting KS1 pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Your Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils in small groups or 1:1 sessions.
Assist children with SEND, including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Speech and Language Needs
ADHD
Sensory Processing Challenges
Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
Dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to implement and support Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Help create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and report on pupil progress to teachers and parents.What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
