GPN Recruitment are delighted to be working with this top 40 firm of chartered accountants who are looking for an ambitious audit assistant manager to join their growing team. This firm work with clients from a range of industries including property, media and entertainment, hospitality and other creative sectors.Well known for investing in their people, this firm work tirelessly to ensure all their staff have the tools, support and guidance to progress their careers. Alongside this, they offer a hybrid working policy but also ensure the social aspect of working is present with regular team nights out, social events and an offsite team building away day once a year.On joining this busy audit team your role will involve but not be limited to:

• Managing a portfolio of clients from a range of different industires
• Managing the audit of international groups
• Reviewing audit files, ensuring that they are completed to a high standard and resolving any issues
• Report to directors and partners
• Responsibility for managing WIP, billing and deadlines
• Direct line manager for 4 members of staff
• Get involved with business development and marketing audit services for the firm
• Work with other managers to ensure the general smooth running of the audit team

In order to be considered you will be:

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
• Recent audit and accounts preparation experience gained in practice
• Experience in managing a client portfolio
• Strong knowledge of FRS102, International auditing standards and ideally IFRS
• Confident in using paperless audit software
• A strong communicator
• Organised, efficient with a high attention to detail
• A team player
