Join Our Team as a Class 2 HGV Driver in the TQ Area!
Driver Hire (Torbay) is currently seeking Class 2 HGV drivers to work on an ad-hoc basis with our clients in the TQ postcode area. The role involves delivering palletised or caged goods, requiring a level of physical fitness as some handballing will be necessary.
Role Highlights:
- Pay Rate: £15.68-£21.13 per hour (PAYE ADV); alternative PAYE options available.
- Shift Start: Starting times from 05:00, Monday to Saturday.
- Minimum Pay: Guaranteed 8 hours per day.
- Payment Frequency: Weekly pay to keep your earnings consistent.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Safely transporting goods to various destinations.
- Providing exceptional customer service at each delivery.
- Following company policies and maintaining high standards.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
- Must have safety footwear.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including hand-balling.
