Master Technician

Location: Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week (Site open 6am-7pm)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Igloo is seeking Master Technicians for a leading automotive company in Chipping Warden. This is a great opportunity to work with a national leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Help resolve technical issues and monitor workflow.

* Complete workshop documentation and ensure compliance with procedures.

* Conduct inspections for vehicle defects.

* Maintain flexibility for shift cover during holidays.

* Keep workspace organised and paperwork up to date.

* Use manuals and software to interpret technical information.

* Clean equipment and report any damage or shortages.

* Support the team in meeting daily targets.

* Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain a clean workshop.

* Carry out additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

* Essential: City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies.

* At least 3 years' workshop experience.

* Desirable: Manufacturer training, including EV/Hybrid knowledge, and strong industry awareness.

* Focus on quality, attention to detail, and maintaining high standards.

* Self-motivated and able to work independently while being a team player.
