About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Crime Team Leader to lead a team of 7 in preventing, detecting, and mitigating financial crimes. If you are a motivated and experienced leader dedicated to ensuring the integrity and security of financial operations, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Provide inspiring leadership and guidance to the financial crime team.
Develop and execute strategies to combat financial crimes.
Stay ahead of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen controls and processes.
Conduct regular assessments and investigations to identify potential risks.
Prepare and deliver insightful reports on financial crime trends and risk assessment findings.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in financial crime prevention.
A strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in financial crime detection tools and systems.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Must live within commutable distance of Liverpool city centre.
