What you will be doing as a Technical Buyer?

We are looking for a driven and experienced procurement professional to join our clients' team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical buying within a project-based mechanical engineering environment. A strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering processes is essential. You will play a vital role in supporting the company's M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) development projects, ensuring that materials and components are sourced efficiently and on time to meet tight customer deadlines.

What requiremens do you need to be a Technical Buyer?

* Demonstrated success in project-based technical procurement, consistently balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

* Strong background in supplier sourcing, selection, and development, including negotiation and performance management.

* Experience managing the end-to-end procurement cycle within engineering environments— from supplier engagement and order placement to goods-in processing and inventory control.

* Proficient in the use of ERP/MRP systems to support procurement activities, including working with BOMs, master parts lists, and structured assemblies.

* Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering processes, enabling effective communication with technical teams and suppliers.

* Proven ability to operate independently in self-directed roles, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results under minimal supervision.

* Skilled in maintaining and controlling stock levels, including inventory analysis and planning.

* Well-versed in inventory management principles, including calculating:

* Reorder Points (ROP)

* Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)

* Minimum Stock Levels
