Production Lead
Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester
Hours: Pitman shift pattern, day shifts only
Salary: £39,963.32 per annum
Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate production teams to achieve targets and meet schedules through proactive planning and problem-solving.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
* Ensure effective communication across shifts, including detailed handovers.
* Manage real-time operational adjustments based on production needs and material availability.
* Oversee resource allocation and inventory levels, ensuring ERP system accuracy.
* Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues.
* Enforce health, safety, and quality standards while promoting best practices.
Requirements:
* Strong leadership and team development experience.
* Proven track record in driving continuous improvement.
* ERP and production management system proficiency.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
