We're seeking a talented CNC Programmer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Derby!

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing team while ensuring production targets are achieved in line with quality, cost, and safety standards.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What you'll be doing:

* Program, set, and operate CNC machines to meet production schedules and quality standards

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to Health & Safety

* Troubleshoot machinery issues, escalating as needed to minimise downtime

* Be proactive, come up with problem solving and continuous improvement solutions

* Collaborate effectively across departments, demonstrating strong teamwork

* Take ownership of personal development, training, and agreed appraisal targets

* Report directly into the Machine Shop Manager

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Pay:

£16.47 per hour / £34,257.20 per annum

Skills/Experience Required

* Proven CNC Programming experience (3-axis CNC, Heidenhain controls preferred)

* Time-served Apprenticeship in Engineering or equivalent (HNC/HND)

* Strong attention to detail

* Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Positive attitude and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
