Assistant Site Manager - Stockton-on-Tees
I have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team for my client at the site in Stockton-on-Tees. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. When required, you will step in for the Site Manager to lead and coordinate the site team, maintaining high standards in health & safety, site presentation, and customer satisfaction, demonstrating skills to advance to a Site Managers position within the company.

What They're looking for:
✔ CSCS Card & valid SMSTS Certificate
✔ Experience working on new build residential projects
✔ Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance
✔ Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage trades, materials & schedules
Desirable (but not essential):
🔹 NVQ Level 3-4 in Building Construction or similar
🔹 First Aid at Work, Scaffold Inspection, or LOLER certification
🔹 Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management software
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing all aspects of site operations, ensuring work is completed to specification and on schedule.
* Oversee health & safety compliance, conducting site inspections and ensuring best practices are followed.
* Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and material deliveries to maintain workflow.
* Ensure quality control through regular inspections and snagging before key stage sign-offs.
* Maintain site presentation, ensuring a professional and tidy working environment.
* Support the customer journey, carrying out pre-handover checks and home demonstrations.
* Work closely with the Site Manager and wider team to drive high standards and successful project delivery,
