Salary: £45000 - £65000/annum

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer, though we will also consider candidates eager to advance into a broader role in general project electrical engineering. This position offers substantial growth and advancement potential as the company expands.

Qualifications:

* A qualified and experienced electrical engineer.

* Preferable experience in electrical design/project management in construction and industrial water systems.

* Ideally, experience with:

* Industrial wastewater treatment

* Chemical bulk handling & distribution

* Ultrapure water for electronics applications

* Filtration systems

* Membrane treatments (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration)

* Conventional and electrolytic deionisation systems

* Wastewater treatment systems

* Chemical bulk handling

Desirable Skills:

* Design and proposal preparation for wastewater treatment plants (chemical/inorganic or biological).

* Practical, proven ability and field commissioning and operating experience.

Position Responsibilities:

* Primarily post-contract work with diverse responsibilities, including:

1. Day-to-day coordination of EC&I project matters with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and staff.

2. Specifying and purchasing equipment, especially control systems and instrumentation, ensuring quality during manufacture and delivery.

3. Producing general contract documentation, including instrument/cable schedules and data sheets.

4. Producing Health & Safety documentation (Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH assessments, Safety Instructions).

5. Creating Functional Design Specifications based on process concepts.

6. Supervising CAD draftsmen for electrical drawings and equipment design.

7. Providing periodic electrical technical support for water and wastewater treatment plants.
