Working hours: Day shift (flexible start and finish) 7am/8am- 4pm/5pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish on a Friday

Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a reputable precision engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable Quality Engineer to join their team.

Specialising in CNC turning, Milling, Grinding and Inspection delivering quality and satisfaction for their clients in Aerospace, Agriculture, Autosport, Marine, Medical and Rail.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the Quality Engineer role:

* Develop, implement and maintain AS9100 quality management systems

* Ensure adherence to AS9100 requirements

* Plan and conduct internal and external audits

* Document audit findings and implement corrective and preventative actions

* Lead route cause analysis

* Generate reports on KPIs and quality metrics

* Write and manage SOPS, work instructions and prepare visual aids

* Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, FMEA, SPC AND CAPA

* Experience in aerospace or defence industry

* Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Qualifications and Skills are required for the Quality Engineer role:

An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable
