SEN Teachers Wanted for Empowering Learning in South West London

Position: SEN Teacher

Location: South West London

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: £160-£220 per day (negotiable depending on experience)

Empowering Learning is seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers to join our exceptional SEN schools in South West London for long-term roles starting in September. If you are committed to making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs, we would love to hear from you!

Key Requirements:

- Calm and Reflective: Ability to remain composed and thoughtful in challenging environments.

- Initiative and Organization: Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

- Curriculum Knowledge: Sound understanding of current Curriculum Initiatives to promote excellent teaching, learning, and behavior.

- ASD Experience: Experience working with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

- Differentiated Curriculum Delivery: Success in delivering a varied curriculum to students with diverse needs.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential qualification.

Desirable:

- ASD Knowledge: Understanding of how ASD affects learning.

- Special School Experience: Previous experience teaching in a Special School environment.

- Complex Needs Experience: Experience working with young people with complex needs, including OCD, PDA, ADHD.

Additional Requirements:

- Child and Adult DBS: Must be on the update service or willing to obtain one during registration.

- Overseas Police Check: Required if you have lived outside the UK in the last 5 years.
